Human Resource Development Manager

We are recruiting for an exciting new role, based in Phatumthani, Thailand.  We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development specialist to head up the Fabrinet Training Academy and lead on talent identification and employee development for 2 sites in Thailand (10,000 employees) and 1 in China (1200 employees)

 

The successful candidate will need to be able to develop and deliver strategic training programs to develop Fabrinet employees and facilitate/co-ordinate the successful completion of the Fabrinet Training Academy 

We are looking for someone who has experience in a multinational business, ideally has worked in the electronics industry and can communicate in English and Thai plus Chinese language skills would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities include:-

  • To develop and implement the Training strategy roadmap and development plan including an educational program plan

  • Identification of training and development needs and ensure the effective and efficient delivery of training and development activities

  • Creation of a knowledge sharing culture

  • Responsibility for building/supporting a positive organizational culture

  • Research and recommend internal and external training programs that align with the organization’s business objectives and employee needs

  • Full responsibility for executing the entire training process - training needs analysis assessment, development and/or outsourcing of training programs, including content, delivering of training programs and evaluation of effectiveness of training

  • Provide a professional and up to date lead in organizational development, assess new opportunities and implement appropriately

  • Overseeing university relations and collaboration such as Internship program, Training campus etc

The ideal candidate will have:-

  • A Bachelor degree and or higher level qualification

  • Proven track record in an HRD function with least 5 years of management level in multinational company

  • An Engineering background would be an advantage but is not essential

  • Very good in English and Thai communication. Chinese communication would be beneficial

  • Balance of People oriented and results driven style

  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases

  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels within the company

  • In-depth knowledge of Customer Centric and Human Capital practices

  • Excellent experience in talent management, development programs and employee engagement

  • Ability to travel to conduct training in overseas locations

The hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm and we offer a competitive remuneration package
